Turizmin Bölgesel Kalkınmaya Etkisinde Profesyonel Turist Rehberlerinin Rol ve Sorumlulukları: Van Örneği

Abstract
Turizm sektörü bölgesel kalkınmanın belirleyicilerinden birisidir. Bu kapsamda düşünüldüğünde, turizm refah seviyesini artırmada önemli bir konuma sahiptir. Turizm sektörünün paydaşları da bölgesel kalkınmada önemli rol oynamaktadırlar. Bu çalışmanın amacı, Van ilinin turizm temelli bölgesel kalkınmasında önemli bir turizm sektörü paydaşı olan ve Van’da yaşayan profesyonel turist rehberlerinin rol ve sorumluluklarını tespit etmektir. Bu amaç doğrultusunda, Van ilinde yaşayan profesyonel turist rehberlerinin konuyla ilgili yazılı görüşü alınmıştır. Çalışmada nitel araştırma tekniği ve fenomenoloji kullanılmıştır. Araştırma soruları, ilgili literatürün taranması ile oluşturulmuş ve veriler yarı yapılandırılmış soru formu ile toplanmıştır. Çalışmaya katılan ve Van ilinde yaşayan profesyonel turist rehberlerinden yazılı olarak alınan veriler içerik analize tabi tutulmuştur. Araştırmadan elde edilen bulgulara göre Van ilinde yaşayan profesyonel turist rehberleri, Van ilini tanıtmak için kamu sektörü ile ortak projelerde rol almak istemekte, ulusal ve yerel basına demeçler vererek bölge tanıtımına katkı verici roller üstenmek istemektedirler.

Abstract
Tourism sector is one of determinant in regional development. In this context, tourism has a key role in increasing the level of welfare. The shareholders of tourism sector also play an important role in the regional development. The aim of this study is to determine the roles and responsibilities of the Professional tour guides living in Van city, who are one of the shareholders of tourism sector in tourism-based regional development in Van city. For tihs purpose, written thoughts of the Professional tourist guides living in Van city were taken. Qualitative research technique and phenomenology were used in this study. The research questions were created by making a literature review, and the datas were collected with the semi-structured form. Content analysis was performed on the obtained datas. The findings show that professional tourist guides living in Van want to take part in joint Project with the public sector to promote the Van city and they want to play a role play a role in contributing to the promotion of the region by making statements to the national and local press.
