Ethics Committee Approval

In acceptance and publication of articles, Journal of Academic Tourism Studies upholds the highest national and international ethical rules and standards. Those studies which require ethical approval must obtain approval from the Ethics Committee. The approval must be included in the article or submitted in the appendix section. Otherwise, studies will not be considered for review.

Plagiarism Policy

Articles must be analyzed using a plagiarism chacking software by author(s) submitted to editors with a similarity analysis report in order to start to article review process. The journal policy requires the similarity score to be maximum 15% excluding the abstract and references. Studies with a similarity score higher than this will not be considered for review. Studies violating the ethical standards will be removed from the journal. This rule also applies to published studies that are found to be violating the rules and to have non-compliances.
